Amid the controversy, the government has taken a firm stance, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi demanding stringent punishment for those involved in the leak. Modi stated that the 13 individuals arrested in connection with the incident should face swift justice through fast-track courts. He asserted that those who jeopardize students’ futures “will not be spared,” indicating the gravity with which the administration views the situation.
The government has also expressed its willingness to engage with protestors who have voiced their discontent over the NEET paper leak. Union Ministers JP Nadda and Jitendra Singh have extended invitations to the protestors for discussions at their official offices or residences. This move reflects the administration’s openness to dialogue and addressing the concerns of those affected.
Meanwhile, demonstrators continue to demand accountability, specifically calling for the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Protestors have announced plans for peaceful demonstrations across the nation, underscoring their determination to hold those responsible accountable and seek justice for the compromised examination process.
