Qatari and Indian Ministers Discuss Boosting Trade and Investment Ties

Minister of State for Foreign Trade Affairs, HE Dr. Ahmed bin Mohamed Al Sayed, met with India’s Minister of Commerce and Industry, Piyush Goyal, on Tuesday during the latter’s official visit to Qatar. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Qatar–India Joint Ministerial Commission for Economic and Commercial Cooperation.
Both ministers reviewed the current state of bilateral trade and investment relations between Qatar and India. They explored new avenues to enhance economic collaboration across various sectors, emphasizing mutual growth and stronger commercial partnerships.
The discussions also covered a number of issues of shared interest aimed at deepening strategic cooperation and fostering long-term economic development between the two nations.
