Breaking: India and China Set to Begin 25th Boundary Negotiations

China and India are gearing up for their 25th round of Special Representatives’ Talks concerning the Boundary Question, as confirmed by Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun. Speaking at a routine press conference, Guo emphasized that the two nations are in constant communication regarding border issues, striving to uphold the agreements forged during the preceding discussions.

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi is presently in New Delhi attending the 16th Meeting of BRICS National Security Advisors and High Representatives on National Security. In the course of his visit, Wang held discussions with Indian National Security Adviser Ajit Doval on Monday, further emphasizing the ongoing dialogue between the two countries.

Guo highlighted that the situation along the China-India border remains stable, underpinned by effective communication channels between Beijing and New Delhi. Both countries are making concerted efforts to implement the consensus reached in the 24th round of boundary discussions, demonstrating their commitment to resolving border-related issues.

The upcoming talks are set to continue these efforts, focusing on managing border disputes and ensuring peace and stability along the frontier. This round of discussions is crucial as both nations aim to build on past agreements and foster a more harmonious bilateral relationship.
